Inspired by histories of atmospheric experimentation on Pendle Hill. Releasing on April 2nd 2021 from Misophonia Records, Gutter (link here) is available as both a digital album download and as a limited edition frost blue tape cassette made of recycled materials. Instruments on this release include: guitar, bass guitar, pedals, plucked psaltery, windscreen wiper, processed electronics, record hiss, VHS, field recordings, and home-made rain gauges. The tracks were all formulated in solo lockdown, in airless spaces, de-tuned landscapes, and walks alone. All field recordings made in London and Pendle Hill.

The process included making recordings inside a home made rain gauge on Pendle Hill, inspired by Richard Towneley's 1661 Pendle Hill barometer experiments.
